Watch the 2024 Lotte Lenya Competition Finals
The 2024 Lenya Competition Finals showcased ten exceptional singing actors in Rochester, NY's Kilbourn Hall on 4 May 2024, each vying for a top prize of $25,000. This year’s finalists, representing four countries, show they can “do it all” by presenting four contrasting theatrical songs and arias. The jury for the finals included 2005 Cardiff Singer of the World and Lenya Competition prizewinner, Nicole Cabell, two-time Tony Award-winning Broadway and opera composer Jeanine Tesori, and acclaimed stage director and playwright, Tazewell Thompson.
